Having been a close up performer for many years and being one of the youngest working magicians of this day and age, I have experienced working with people from many different cultures, backgrounds and beliefs. I have worked in magic shops in London whilst working as a solo magic act and since I have moved to Ipswich I have continued to keep this alive. I am a member of the Ipswich Magical Society and was a member of the Magic circle's young magicians club. I have an advantage of being just old enough to demand a level of respect during my children's shows but young enough for the children to feel at ease. I also have an advantage in close up magic with this as I do not pose as much of a threat as other, older magicians may do. I have performed at: birthday parties (adult, children and everything in-between) school fetes and fundraisers weddings themed parties black tie occasions restaurant magic and many other events I have many characters and a growing popular choice is the Metal Magician. This is very popular with teenagers who are fans of heavy metal music and for whom, the classic style of magic does not appeal. I offer a persona of an evil, horror movie style magician who brings a more morbid feel to his shows. This can include magic based set up séances. I have also had a basic grounding in French and Spanish and am currently learning Croatian to improve my audience span.

Hi, My name is Chris, although I use two stage names depending on what style I am performing - Ramasis is my stage name for close up and bar magic, Hawk is what I use for other types of magic, including my involvement within the moderating teams on different websites; although in the near future I will only be adopting the Hawk persona for all of my magic related things. Ramasis will go into retirement, ah. I do not look like a typical magician, what with my 1950s military hair cut and, tattoos - but hey someone had to make a change in peoples perception of what a magician should look like. My look is quite different to any other magician and, it has a great advantage for me within the world of magic, as it does have the surprise element about it; I love money magic, be it coins or bills, close up is my personal thing, it gets the people involved and, that is all good in my book, as the people is what its all about! do you not agree.
