Mario Orsini has been referred to as a Magician, Mentalist and Illusionist. He doesn’t focus his energies in just one area of magic but instead spends time studying them all. Born in 1981 in Winchester, Virginia, Mario began studying the art of magic at the age of 10. He was constantly astounding his family, friends and anyone willing to watch. However, after practicing magic for a few years, Mario took a 10 year hiatus from magic. After graduating from Musselman High School, Mario studied Criminal Justice at Marshall University, earning his Bachelor’s Degree in 2003. (He is currently completing his Master’s through West Virginia University.) Shortly after graduation from Marshall, Mario was on a weekend trip in Atlantic City when the magic bug bit him once again. After talking to a magician working a magic booth for what seemed like minutes but was in fact over an hour, Mario dived head first back into magic. Since that time he has entertained thousands with his astonishing close-up magic, mind-blowing mentalism and unbelievable illusions. What type of Magic does Mario perform? Card magic, paper and coin money magic, mentalism, levitations and suspensions, and small to large scale illusions. Mario's style of magic is what you'd expect to see on David Blaine's Street Magic specials or Criss Angel's MindFreak. What age range will Mario perform for? While he'll perform for any age, his style of magic is best suited for ages 10 and up. Can I see Mario perform before I schedule him? Of course. There are three ways of doing this: 1) Click the photo/video gallery to see a preview of what he can do. 2) Call him to set up a short in person interview so you can see some magic in person before deciding. 3) Check out his Myspace or Facebook accounts to see where he will be performing publicly. What does cerca trova mean? Cerca Trova is italian for ‘seek and you shall find.’ Does Mario use any camera tricks to accomplish his effects? Absolutely not! What you see in the video clips is exactly what you'll see in person. How much does it cost to book Mario for my event? Cost is determined on a case by case basis.
